Breakfast seminar here at Studio Stockholm Arkitektur!

December 5, 2025

A full house at this morning’s breakfast seminar here at Studio Stockholm Arkitektur! What an energy boost! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to inspiring discussions and curious conversations. A special thanks to our brilliant panel:
• Malin Dahlberg Malin Dahlberg, CEO, Kulturhuset Stadsteatern
Mattias Celinder, soon-to-be CEO, A house
Maria Hammarsten, Head of Business Development, Urban Innovation, Atrium Ljungberg • Sebastian Pradilla Rocha, Leasing Manager, New Property

The theme of the day was “All inclusive at work – what happens to the city when everything is included in the office space?” Karolina Nyström and Alessandro Cardinale opened with a trend overview, and Vanna Gunnarsson guided us through the conversation as moderator.
We see modern workplaces increasingly complemented with gyms, changing rooms, open lobbies, cafés, restaurants, rooftop terraces, and conference spaces. But when a building offers everything — what does that mean for the city around it?

A lively discussion emerged around in-building gyms vs. concept gyms. The panel agreed that personal service and human presence — ideally in the form of a personal trainer — create real value, identity, and strong synergies.
Sebastian also emphasized an important point: not everything needs to be perfect or polished. Sometimes a slightly “gritty pub” can bring more soul and street life to a place than yet another carefully curated venue. We took the opportunity to ask Maria whether more local pubs might pop up in Atrium Ljungberg’s developing areas — Slussen, Slakthusområdet, or Sickla. Her answer: the focus should always be on creating concepts rooted in the identity of the location and providing a true mix and variation.Another key question was raised: Are we doing too much? The panel’s response was clear — if anything, we’ve done too little, and this shift is here to stay. We must create workplaces and urban environments that people genuinely want to come to.

We’re leaving this morning full of energy and inspiration. Thank you for making these conversations so valuable!
