Studio Stockholm Arkitektur joins Stockholms Handelskammare!
Studio Stockholm Arkitektur joins Stockholms Handelskammare! We are excited to announce that Studio Stockholm is now a proud member of Stockholms Handelskammare! We look forward to engaging in inspiring discussions and meaningful conversations about the future of our city and beyond.
Just yesterday, Alessandro Cardinale and Vanna Gunnarsson participated in a thought-provoking event on the theme: “Does Stockholm have an identity crisis?” The discussion touched on key aspects of Stockholm’s position in the world—its strengths in governance, stability, talent, equality, and sustainability, where Sweden ranks high globally.
As Staffan Ingvarsson highlighted, 80% of what defines Stockholm is positive—now is the time to confidently stand by what we excel at! And as Tobias Larsson (Telia) put it: Always proud, never satisfied.
A key takeaway? More partnership, less competition. Stockholm is a city of art, innovation and collaboration, and we must continue to nurture this ecosystem. Always intressting to hear Helena Waker from Stockholm Fashion District and Lisa Ivemark from Art Basel who emphasized the power of Stockholm’s art scene and its role in tourism and cultural identity—another unique strength we should embrace.
And let’s not forget gastronomy! As Jonas Lagerström chef at Etoile and Celeste, put it: ”Gastronomy is a creative industry—curious, innovative, and inclusive.”
We look forward to contributing to these conversations and helping shape the future of Stockholm! What were your insights from the evening?
