Studio Stockholm strengthens it’s offer – makes key recruitment in sustainable placemaking
Placemaker Vanna Gunnarsson joins Studio Stockholm Arkitektur as Marketing Manager and Lead Architect. Vanna will play a key role in the studio’s major development projects. She has most recently had a hand in the development of Slakthushallarna in Slakthusområdet and Tegeluddsvägen 31 on Gärdet in Stockholm.
Despite the current global challenges, Studio Stockholm continues to see strong demand for the studio’s services and is now further strengthening its offering through the recruitment of Vanna Gunnarsson.
– We are thrilled to welcome Vanna to Studio Stockholm. Her knowledge of, and experience in, sustainable placemaking will strengthen our ability to deliver architecture in large and complex development projects. She also has the qualities we are looking for with a great deal of curiosity, drive and a business-minded approach, says Alessandro Cardinale, co-founder and partner at Studio Stockholm.
Vanna Gunnarsson is a qualified architect (MSA) from the Royal Institute of Technology. She most recently held the position of Chief Architect and Partner at ElinderSten, and prior to that, she worked at Strategisk Arkitektur and Tengbom. Vanna specialises in commercial real estate development with a particular focus on creating sustainable, vibrant spaces and environments.
– I am impressed by Studio Stockholm’s creativity and ability to create innovative and exciting projects, where they challenge in a playful yet professional manner. I look forward to continuing to work with site development alongside Studio Stockholm’s innovative and driven team. It will be exciting to see how together we can take sustainable real estate development one step further to create safe, well-cared-for, and attractive places, says Vanna Gunnarsson.
Vanna will take up her new role on 6 March.
